Third-year students of the educational and professional program “Secondary Education (Chemistry)” of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University – Yaroslav Kachkan and Maria Petruseniak – became the winners of the All-Ukrainian competition “Chemical Kaleidoscope”, organized by the V. G. Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University with the support of the DNU “Institute for Modernization of Educational Content”. This year, the competition brought together about 2,000 participants, who presented more than 1,500 works in six nominations. Among them are chemical research, video projects, interactive models, author’s tasks, methodological developments and creative works.
The work “Table of insoluble bases and salts in water. Video experiments” (nomination “Methodological piggy bank”) was submitted to the competition, which is a modern digital didactic resource for studying chemical reactions in aqueous solutions. The development contains 91 video fragments of experiments, grouped into eight thematic tables with QR codes for quick access to demonstrations. Educational materials can be used in chemistry lessons in grades 9 and 11, during the repetition of educational material, overcoming educational losses, as well as preparation for Olympiads and competitions. The scientific supervision of the work was carried out by associate professors of the department Liliya Midak and Olga Kuzyshyn.
Students presented their work at the competition’s welcome conference on December 9, 2025.
We sincerely congratulate the students and their scientific supervisors on this significant achievement and wish them new successes in their scientific and methodological activities!
