On January 15–16, 2026, a working meeting of the international consortium of the BOOSTSCIENCE* project, implemented with the support of the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme, took place in Athens in a mixed format (face-to-face and online).
The event was hosted by the Hellenic Open University and brought together representatives of partner universities from various European countries. The meeting continued the initial phase of the project and focused on clarifying the next steps of its implementation.
Participants discussed key aspects of project realization, taking into account Ukrainian and European contexts and Erasmus+ requirements, including management and coordination mechanisms, quality assurance procedures, the BOOSTSCIENCE strategic roadmap, as well as further development and integration of training modules into the educational programmes of Ukrainian partner universities.
Within the framework of the meeting, Professor Volodymyr Lushchak, Professor of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, and project leader from the university, presented the institution and the BOOSTSCIENCE project team. He highlighted the university’s expert potential, research capacity, and active role in international academic cooperation.
The Head of the University’s Project Management Department and BOOSTSCIENCE Project Manager, Associate Professor Tetyana Solodzhuk, provided an overview of the work package coordinated by the university and presented approaches to ensuring the sustainability of project outcomes beyond the funding period. Particular attention was paid to dissemination activities, stakeholder engagement, and the integration of project results into the educational and management practices of partner institutions.
The working meeting in Athens marked an important stage in strengthening partnership, aligning further actions, and enhancing cooperation among consortium members for the successful implementation of the BOOSTSCIENCE project, underscoring the vital role of effective international professional communication.
